iPad 101

This week, two of my colleagues have purchased iPads, and they cannot stop talking about how great it is! This got me thinking…what is so GREAT about this device? At first glance the iPad looks like a giant iTouch, but what’s its appeal for the average user? What does it have that would make you spend $499?
Here are some advantages to the iPad:

  • The display is great. It has a resolution of 1024×768.ipad-design
  • The user-interface is also great. For those of us who need glasses to read the small print, this is a dream come true.
  • The accessibility to the internet is strong. And the quality of streaming videos is also good.
  • I have been in meetings with my colleagues and they bring their iPads with them and they manage to take notes and email with no problem. I have even got the notes of the meetings before I have got back to my desk!
  • Social Media. Everyone these days is connected to at least one social media platform, and the iPad apps make it easier to stay connected.
  • The life of the battery is excellent. On average, the battery can last from 1-2 days. Which is a good thing. When your on the move, the last thing you want to think about is “when is the battery going to die?”

With all that being said, would you buy an iPad? Let us know by commenting below or tweeting us @elizabethsquare!
